About us


My father Georg Battenberg founded the business in Röllshausen in 1969. He specialised in restoring and reproducing antique furniture not only from the Schwalm region, but also antiques from other parts of the country.

 

Having finished my training as a joiner I entered my parents' business in 1986. Guided by my father I acquired the essential skills that are necessary for the restoration and reproduction of furniture from our region.

 

In 1994 I passed the examination for the master's certificate in Bad Wildungen and became a master joiner. After 30 years of self-employment my father assigned his business to me in January 1999 and is supporting me with his expertise still today.
